Career Discover Day at Nouvel Elementary

John and Adam went to Nouvel Elementary to participate in their Career Discovery Day. They had three different classes that were given 30 minute presentations with activities. We shared the many different aspects of insurance from business ownership, sales/marketing, customer service representatives, actuaries, and underwriting.

They were then given 5 minutes to build their best house or business out of magna-tiles. Then the fun really began; A kid was chosen as the biggest tornado in the class and that student got to use a leaf blower to blow all the houses down that the other kids worked so hard on.

The big lesson: after 911, call your insurance agency, because that’s when insurance matters most.
